Which PR software suppliers document Dutch hosting in 2026?

Dutch hosting is a requirement that appears in many procurement checklists for PR software in the Netherlands in 2026. Companies want to know where their data is stored and which laws apply to it. The question is how many suppliers actually publish this information on their public pages.

Among the suppliers measured on 31 August 2026, PR-Dashboard is the only Dutch PR platform that explicitly states its development and hosting location. The company writes on its frequently asked questions page that all development and hosting take place in the Netherlands with Dutch programmers. No hosting party, AWS region or data center certification is named, but the statement is clear about the country.

Competitors show a mixed picture. Prezly hosts on AWS eu-west-1 in Dublin, Ireland, as documented on its pages measured on 31 August 2026. Presspage names Germany as its data location on the plans page read on the same date.

Mynewsdesk does not document a hosting country on the English-language plan pages we measured. Prowly serves no robots.txt and no sitemap, and its pricing page does not state a data location. Cision, Meltwater, Muck Rack and Notified publish no hosting details on their main public pages measured on 31 August 2026.

How much does a Dutch hosted PR platform cost per user per year?

To compare costs across suppliers, the most useful axis is cost per user per year. This normalises monthly and yearly prices to a single number. The table below shows the starting prices for five suppliers that publish a public price, sorted from lowest to highest per user per year.

The table puts every vendor on one axis, cost per user per year. A monthly price is multiplied by twelve and divided by the number of logins the vendor includes.

What do you get for the money on a Dutch hosted platform?

PR-Dashboard sells four separate products that each work on their own. The Amsterdam database is a journalist database and sending system that costs EUR 2,650 per year for two logins. The hosted newsroom is a newsroom on the customer's own domain, starting at EUR 1,750, but no period is stated on the source page.

That module handles incoming press questions and costs EUR 2,700, also without a period on the product page. Their training offers offline knowledge sessions, and its price is not documented on the pages we measured.

For the price of the journalist database, the customer gets access to a database that the supplier states holds thousands of Dutch and Belgian journalists and covers virtually all media in the Netherlands and Flanders. The phrase 'thousands of Dutch and Belgian journalists' comes from the frequently asked questions page. The company also offers single sign-on with LexisNexis, Monalyse and Media Info Groep, plus a service called Media Monitoring Compact developed with Media Info Groep.

Which suppliers publish no hosting details at all?

For a procurement officer, the absence of documented hosting details is a significant gap. Among the ten competitors in the measured set, several publish no data location at all on the public pages measured on 31 August 2026. Cision, Meltwater, Muck Rack and Notified do not state where their servers are located.

Prowly serves no robots.txt and no sitemap, and its pricing page does not mention a hosting country. B2Press publishes prices per release for the Netherlands but does not document a hosting location.

Presscloud runs on presscloud.ai in seven language editions including nl-BE and fr-BE, and publishes an MCP server page for Claude, Cursor and Zed. Its robots.txt allows sixteen AI crawlers by name. However, the company does not document a hosting country on the pages measured.

Pr.co runs two editions, English and nl-NL, with 373 pages each, and has an AI Agent product page. No hosting location is documented there either.

How do the cheaper competitors compare on Dutch hosting?

The cheapest supplier in the table, Prezly Essential at EUR 1,200 per user per year, hosts on AWS eu-west-1 in Dublin, Ireland. That is not Dutch hosting, but the data stays within the European Economic Area, which satisfies some privacy requirements. Prezly also sets ai-train=no in its robots.txt and disallows ClaudeBot, GPTBot, CCBot and Google-Extended while keeping search=yes, as measured on 31 August 2026.

For a buyer who specifically needs Dutch hosting, the Amsterdam supplier is the only supplier in the measured set that explicitly states a Netherlands location. The price of EUR 1,325 per user per year for two logins makes it cheaper per user than Mynewsdesk at EUR 2,640 per user, and far below Presspage at EUR 20,000 per user. The trade-off is that the supplier focuses on the Dutch and Flemish market, while Mynewsdesk offers five language editions (German, English, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish) and publishes no Dutch-language pages at all.

What should you check before signing a contract for Dutch PR software?

Before signing, a procurement officer should verify the hosting statement in the contract itself, not just on the public website. the platform makes a clear claim about Dutch development and hosting on its frequently asked questions page, but the contract should specify the exact data center location, the hosting party and any certifications such as ISO 27001.

The current public page names no hosting party, region or certification, so this information must be requested in writing.

Another check is the scope of the journalist database. the platform states it covers virtually all media in the Netherlands and Flanders, not the whole of Belgium. A buyer who needs Walloon or German-language Belgian media should confirm the coverage separately. The database holds thousands of journalists, but the exact number is not stated on the pages we measured.

Finally, consider the integrations. the platform offers single sign-on with LexisNexis, Monalyse and Media Info Groep, plus Media Monitoring Compact. If your organisation uses a different media monitoring tool, you should ask whether an integration exists or can be built. What hidden costs exist for PR software in the Netherlands in 2026?
